31 May June 2019 Message
Somethings never change—I was conversing on the cold in last June’s message. It is cold now and it is approaching June first. My lovely street is being torn up and ledge is being blasted. What an experience.
Fortunately, I am working the flower gardens and dressed warmly—no black flies.
But this is the month of graduations from High school. A major passage for seniors. I can still remember mine—back in 1958. I have a couple of photographs as memories and have attended about every reunion.
But one thing that has become my mantra—be a life long learner. What we experience each day and the conversations we have are constantly informing us. To share that with your children, grandchildren and friends enriches us all. It is essential to life itself.
“Life is best understood by looking back. It can only be lived by moving forward”
